Mid-century porcelain statuette of a black pelican designed by Miloslav Smutný and made by Jihokera Bechyně in the 60s. Typical items of the so-called Brussels Era. The sculptures won the Gold Prize Medal at the Expo 58 in Brussel as an unique design item. It's in vintage condition.
