A legend, Futurit 202 desk lamp made by Gummon Factory Bratislava in 1932. The lamps were originally designed by British designer Eric Kirkham Cole, called Plastalite and later produced under the license by Ecko in Czechoslovakia. In Gummon they numbered it as 202 and poured Futurit, an improved Bakelite mixture from the Bakelite Gesellschaft Berlin, into the molds.
In 1950, the production was moved to the newly established company Elektrosvit Nové Zámky, where the production of type 202 continued, but under the designation type 11126. The difference between Futurit 202 and Elektrosvit type 11126 is in the switch. Model 202 has a massive switch integrated into the surface. The lamp from Elektrosvit has a standardized switch known from other post-war Czechoslovak lamps.
Lamp is in very good condition, repaired and rewired.
