Boby 3 Portable Storage System was designed by Italian designer Joe Colombo in 1969 and produced by Bieffeplast S.p.A., Padua, Italy. The compact unit is an all-in-one organization system on wheels, including shelves, bins, and trays. The design presciently conceptualized the idea that furniture should be multifunctional and customizable—a notion attuned to our more recent concept of multitasking. This compact caddy is featured in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. It was completely cleaned, there are marks of use and patina due to its age, visible on the pictures.
